Exchange UM hanging up after about 7 seconds RRS feed

  • OCS 2007 RTM, Exchange UM 2007 SP1.  I believe I've setup everything correctly, but calls to voicemail or the autoattendant always get dropped after about 7 seconds (sometimes a little longer).  Both answer right away, there is a pause for about 5 seconds and then I hear the start of the greeting "Welcome, your <click - call was disconnected>".

    My error logs on OCS & Ex UM are clean, other than an error about no operator extension defined for the auto attendant (which does not seem like it is related or important at this point).

    Calls within OCS & PBX are working fine - no issues at all.

    Any ideas?

  • Problem solved.  Turned out to be router access lists (firewall) blocking the client from talking to the UM server directly.  Clients were only able to talk to the OCS Front End server.
