Hi, i am Piyush Shah from Pune - India.
I want to do Microsoft Certification. I got info that for developers certification, i have to clear the 70-536 exam first.
This is my first certification for Microsoft.
Please guide me about the step by step requirements and sequence of papers for MCTS.
I want to appear either for Web Appl Dev or Windows Based Applications.
I am already working with a college as a computer teacher. I want to do self study. Which book shall i refere?

First determine which version of the Microsoft Visual Studio you are comfortable with:
If you are using Visual Studio 2005:
For Windows Development:
MCTS: .NET Framework 2.0 Windows Applications (Two Required exams)
· Exam 70–536 - TS: Microsoft .NET Framework – Application Development Foundation
· Exam 70–526 - TS: Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 – Windows-Based Client Development
For Web Development:
MCTS: .NET Framework 2.0 Web Applications (Two Required exams)
· Exam 70-536: TS: Microsoft .NET Framework – Application Development Foundation
· Exam 70-528: TS: Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 – Web-Based Client Development
