  • The levels numbers mean the level of difficulty. Level 100 is the easiest, and as the level number increases, the difficulty increases.

So in the project file, level 200 are lil easy compared to the level 300 projects.

    Hope this solves your query.

  • While we try not to create a competition in the academic projects program and keep it as an initiative where we can provide students with opportunities to gain some exposure to real world projects and showcase their work. But because of the sheer numbers, we obviously cannot showcase all the projects and hence the feeling of competition.

We wish to showcase some of the most innovative projects at the expos. Innovative in terms of the problem you are trying to solve and use of technology to solve it. This indireclty implies that if you do something that everyone is doing you chance of being selcted for the expo is little less. This also means that students working on projects from our pool of topics do reduce their chance of being selected for the expo since the idea is no longer that innovative. The only reason why a team working on an existing project might be selected for an expo is if it has done a splendid implementation (good UI, complete solution, good documentation etc).

So while we will want to encourage students to come up with their own ideas for the program, students working on existing projects do stand a chance also but provided they execute the project well.

Also if all factor are similar then a higher level project will stand to have a better chance.

But just as we said in the first para, don't look at this as a competition. Look at it as an opportunity to work with the industry and sharpen your skills.

i will suggess you to go for your strength and not go by topic . means if u are good in web technology then go for web project same with other. not go for hard abd tough projects. beacuse insted of starting a very good project but not able to complete then start a simple project and at the end of year make very good and well functional project.
