Hi, had this issue for months now. Windows update works and updates itself regularly, however IE9 regularly crashes, especially when I try to open another page. It just loops and eventually I get it to open.
I have 2 issues:
1. After running various FixIt tools, it seems that the windows update components need repairing. I have run all tools to repair it but some cannot be fixed (troubleshooter message).
2. Something is wrong with the troubleshooter, because it won't let me send the 'send the report to microsoft' - it keeps failing. Therefore I cannot get any support specifically related to my problem.
I have windows 7, 64bit and IE9 on a 6 months old system. I am using Panda internet security and I have disabled all additional add-ons other than Adobe updaters and Microsoft Office. I have run all the FixIt tools, reinstalled IE default settings
but the problem still persists.
Can anyone suggest how I can fix the windows update components please?
