Attempting to add Windows Media Player to VB 2019 Toolbox RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am using Visual Basic via Visual Studio Community 2019 on Win 10.

The Windows Media Player isn't listed in my Toolbox.

I right click within the Components section and get the Customize Toolbox dialog box.

I click on the Com Tab.

    I select Windows Media Player.

I hit OK, but the Windows Media Player component never shows up in my toolbox.

I exit and restart VB 2019 but that made no difference.

I am not very familar with all of the various Visual Studio options and could certainly use some guidance as to how best to proceed.

    Thank you,
