  • i have set up crm 2011 on one of our dev servers. I have added myself (domain/Pete) as CEO role. When I log in All the dahboards report I don not have sufficient privileges to view a chart. Also I do not get the 'customers' tab in the workplace.

    On our domain I am an administrator, and have full rights to each server inc SQL servers

    I must be missing something simple on the crm. can any one shed some light

  • hi pete,

     are you trying to access custom entities ?

    if so, you have to give privileges to access custom entities manually for each security role except System Administrator .

    By default only system administrator role will get privileges to access all entities (system/custom).

    to give privileges navigate to Settings-->Administration-->Security Roles-->CEO-->select Custom Entities tab--> give read/write privileges.
