In Windows XP I ran a batch file every day using Task Scheduler to sync a folder between a hard drive and a USB drive at a scheduled time. The batch file contained the following: "C:\Program Files\SyncToy 2.1\SyncToyCmd.exe" -R >> C:\Sync\Docs\Files\SyncToy\sync.log
(all on one line). Worked perfectly. I just switched to Windows 8.1, and I am trying to run the same script. The task starts, the files are synced OK (I checked the log file), but the Task Status in Task Scheduler still says
"Running". I expected the status to change to "Ready". Any thoughts?
