I might have a workaround for you guys. I managed to fix the problem by deleting my temporary internet files and my cookies.
Try that.Saturday, November 1, 2008 5:59 PM -

Deleting the temporary files and cookies worked for me as well. Would you still like our log files Tim?Thursday, November 6, 2008 3:03 AM

Yep, deleting the cookies solved the problem for me also. Too back I now need to re-login on multiple web sites. I tired to find the specific cookie that caused the problem but due to lack of time I decided to go and delete all of them. At the end it may even be useful to remove all ADs servers cookiesSunday, November 9, 2008 3:22 PM

I found the exact cookie that caused the problem - the domain was login.live.com. After I deleted this, I no longer got the 500 Internal Server Error.

I found that deleting cookies need to take place from IE as well. I tried doing that with Firefox and nothing, deleting cookies in IE resolved it immediately.

Noam and Oisin... thanks for the tip on the login.live.com cookie. I was having the same 500 error (as well as a 401 error when trying to synchronize a folder. Deleting the cookie (for some reason I found two login.live.com cookies) worked just great.
