CRM Duplicate tracking token in online CRM RRS feed

  • Hello All,

    Facing an issue related to tracking token. Sometimes CRM tracking token creating duplicate tracking tokens for sending emails.( Online CRM 2013)

    Does anyone have experienced the same issue?

    Any help will be appreciated.

    Below screen sort for the my crm setting for tracking token. And one example duplicate crm tracking token.

  • The tracking token is used to track emails in the same thread, and related to the same record (via the regardingobjectid field). It is therefore normal behaviour to have multiple emails with the same tracking token, if they are part of the same email thread

    Thanks for your time.

    All the above highlighted emails are different emails and sent to different customers.

    And also those emails are send on different dates.

    So the tracking token should be different.

  • Hi Lisa,

    Had a discussion with Microsoft support team last week about this issue .

    They suggested that do not use the both options go for single one like whether Smart Matching or Tracking Token.

    So in my case I need the tracking token. So I have unchecked the check box use Smart Matching options.

    As it is random issue  for me , so I am monitoring whether it is creating the duplicate tracking or not.
