Ownership hierarchy in Dynamics

Hi all,

Each opportunity is owned by a user on our Dynamics installation. Each user has a BU.

The BU hierarchy looks something like this:

Company > Country > Region > office

Most users will be at office level.

Now when I am creating an advanced find - how to I bring back items that are below the hierarchy of a country. So for instance all UK owned opportunities. It seems that if I select UK as a BU it will only bring back opportunities at the UK level and not any child BUs - or there child BU`s.

I hope this makes some sense.

Hello Dan,

I should have said we are using 2011. Great to know that if we get an upgrade then it will have that functionality.

I would therefore assume that previous versions couldn't do this?

Hello,

That functionality was released as a part of CRM 2015 and unfortunately it is not available for earlier releases.
