Add Captcha for new users. RRS feed

  • Question

  • I see a lot of spam in the forums today.  I'd suggest implementing a captcha system to help prevent spam. When a new user registers, they have to deal with Captcha until they earn enough points or are accepted as legitimate by a moderator.

    just an idea.

  • I think this to be a bad time right now.

Many people are having problems with Carey Frisch and Ronnie Vernon (hope I wrote the names correct) and their accounts get banned, making them create new accounts over and over again. And if the administrators would create this right now, I think many users would get annoyed by the long waiting time, until they can post.

To prevent spamming, it's of course a good idea.
