  • You are getting this error because some of the information you are supplying during the MCP Site registration process does not match with what's recorded against your MC ID.  You will need to contact your local Microsoft Regional Service Center http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/help/assisted-support.aspx

  • Thanks,

but there is nothing like that.If there is something wrong against my MC ID it should not send me the Temprory Access Code.
It sends me Access Code but when i try to enter my MC ID (against which i got access code in my email address) with that access code system throws error
If there is something wrong with my MC ID it should not send me access code

  • Are you using a Windows Live account that has the same email address used to get your Access Code?

  • When I setup my access, my Windows Live account needed to be the same as the email address associated with the access code.  Yours are different.

  • There's nothing that can be done.  You will need to contact Microsoft during business hours.

BTW, just to double check, is this the link that's causing your problems:

    https://mcp.microsoft.com/Authenticate/Migrate/Migrate.aspx?ReturnUrl=https%3a%2f%2fmcp.microsoft.com%2fmcp%2fdefault.aspx
