Lost my alert settings -again- RRS feed

    Just letting you know that once again I lost alert settings.

    I have to constantly check that setting as I'll suddenly realize a thread I posted to that has a response and I didn't get an alert.

    I have had a similar issue except in reverse and I think I have it nailed down, but no one has gotten back to me on it as to whether they can reproduce it or not (hint hint!).

    If open a thread up by just clicking on the down carat on the main page and expanding it, then reply, the Alert Me checkbox will ALWAYS be checked.  If I open the thread up on its own separate tab and reply, the Alert Me checkbox is ALWAYS unchecked.  In my account settings sections, I have Always Alert Me checked OFF.  So I would suggest, for now at least, if you want to always be alerted, to expand the thread with the carat and reply.
