One way voice when calling outbound using Cisco CME RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

We have configured a Cisco CME (SIP Trunk) with a Cisco 7961 (phone # 1236) connected to it.

We can call  the Cisco phone from MS Office communicator 2007 (internal).

The call gets stablished and we can listen to the voice coming from the Cisco phone but no sound is going out from MS OC 2007 to Cisco phone.

Also I am unable to dial-in from Cisco Phone to internal number (1234, 12065551234 or 95551234)

Hope it makes sense to somebody with the knowledge of Microsoft OCS 2007 Ignite workshop.

    Thanks.

  • We could not make OCS 2007 to work 100% with a CISCO CME and a Cisco IP, but now we have a working setup of OCS 2007, Cisco CME with a FXS card and an analog phone connected to it.

  • Hi,

I set up an OCS 2007 with a Cisco CME and Cisco IP Phone, and it works with regards to signaling (i.e. if in OC I dial the extension number of the Cisco IP Phone, it rings, and viceversa) but everytime I answer the call (independently by the side I started the call from) I can hear the audio stream just for a second, then the Cisco router (it's a 2811) reboots. It's like OCS audio stream causes the router to crash. Do you have such a problem? Can you post your dial-peer configuration? What kind of codec do you use?

    Thanks
