  • Hi,

I am enabling PS remoting on domain configured windows server 2016. I am login with enterprise admin and I have run PowerShell as an administrator. I am getting access is denied error.

  • It doesn't matter if you log on as "enterprise admin" if the PowerShell session is not elevated.

You must right-click the PowerShell icon and choose "Run as administrator".

  • Hi Bill,

    Thank you for your reply.

The PowerShell session is elevated. I have already mentioned.

    Thank you,

  • I would verify that you are not loading any profile scripts (start PowerShell elevated with the -NoProfile parameter). Other than that, I am not able to reproduce the problem.
