  • Hai,

    I'm used to CRM but I've few doubts which I want to clear them.

    I would like to know what does IFD mean. What happens if we do IFD. Where it can be done and how?

    I would like to know about IFD and its importance.

    Kindly help me in this.

  • IFD means internet facing deployment, if you have on-premise deployment and you want to make it available to out side your intranet then you configure IFD for you org.

  • Hi SravaniRN459,

    IFD helps the CRM users to access the system over the website. i.e) Without configuring IFD,  a user cannot access the CRM system outside the work environment. For ex: if you want to work from home and want access to the CRM system then the IFD needs to be configured. so that when you mention "https://xxxx.xxxxx.com", the link will lead to the crm login page.
