  • It was an unsoliicited Info Post.

I've long had a sticky post saying that these were not allowed and such sticky posts are still there in some of the SP forums. Check out the discussion of the sticky in the InfoPath forum if it's still there.

These are forums for questions and the replies are thus for answers. By all means save up this solution until an appropriate question comes along, but don't post it as an Info post.

The only people I allow to post Info posts are people from Microsoft and I get narky with them too if they do it too often and don't make it 100% clear it is an official MS info post in the Title.

So you see the reply but it's off this forum -> Off-Topic

P.S. The post from you that ended in "Fun!!" was deleted because of that addition to what otherwise was a reasonable Title.  Again there is a sticky post (the one about which forums to post to) which gives indication of the sort of thing that isn't accepted in Titles. A single exclamation might just have had that exclamation mark edited out but two exclamation marks + the word Fun meant it went directly.

  • Fair enough if thats the rules. If the discussions option was removed this would be much clearer.

    Cheers Dave

Yes indeed. I couldn't agree more.
