Ms CRM 4.0 Email router error RRS feed

  • Hi There,

             Environment: MS CRM 4.0 , ON-PREMISE,ROLLUP 15, Exchange 2007  ,windows 2008

      we have recently configured queues , and user profiles   using email router , when an attachment is sent with characters like '+' ,'['  the email is not picked in the queue.

    in the event log there is error log saying  as below , the same thing happens for some user profiles as well when we test in crm router all the queues and profiles are successful.

    Your help is much appreciated.

  • This is a known issue - there's a kb article describing the changes needed to allow IIS to 'double-escape' those characters. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2004573 

    Additionally, I've found that it's easier to ensure that it works by having the email router run as a CRM user (instead of local service.)
