CRM 2011 Workflow activity: Create task after changing the Lead status. RRS feed

  • Hi Experts,

    I need to create a follow up task using Workflow activity when user changes the Lead status to "Processed" from form.

    Scenario: The User (Sales Representative) has logged into CRM using it's credentials and the Lead is assigned to the same User. When user changes the Lead Status from Drop Down say "Processed" and the new Task should be created and assigned to the logged in User with the task date (Current date + 3 days).

    Can anyone help me with the Logic?

  • Hi Dhaval,

    Write a workflow. Add a custom workflow step which will be fired when status changes to processed.

    In the workflow context there is a property called InitiatingUserId this holds the value of the current logged in user. Assign the task with this value.
