Best way to copy a personalized entity and its attributes from one CRM to another ? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I am running my own CRM in my machine.

The CRM in production is running on a server. A new personalized entity has been created in production.

I would like to import, quickly and safely, this entity into my own CRM, with all its attributes and data.

What is the best way to do that ?

I know there is an export/import wizard in the Settings but this does not seem to work well or does not do the job completely.

    Thanks for helping.

  • When exporting/importing make sure you select the entities that you have associated to the personalised entity when possible. This will ensure you relationships stay intact when moving to another system.

  • Once you've got the customisations across, to get the data in you can use the import wizard (Tools-Import)
