Windows 7+"This copy of Windows is not genuine" RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello. Just recently, my computer keeps popping up a notification that my Windows 7 Build 7601 is not genuine. I have never received this 'error' message before. Although my laptop works just fine, I would like to understand what is up with that error. And I'd also like for it to be fixed, hehe. Here is the diagnostic report:

  • Unfortunately, your OEM SLP copy of Windows 7 Ultimate edition is counterfeit.  You will need to purchase a genuine edition of Windows and perform a "clean install".  Genuine Windows can be purchased from the Microsoft Store
