Membership lapsed and control panel locked RRS feed

  • Since my membership lapsed, my computer has been having severe problems. I am unable to open my control panel to restore my computer. I tried to renew my membership but am unable to complete downloads. What can I do?

  • If you uninstall OneCare and reinstall it, your installed copy will be in trial mode for 15 days. You should then be able to restore your backups.
    You can also restore backups manually by using Winzip or similar program to extract the files from the OneCare backup .zip file and use this utility to rejoin any fiels that were split by the backup process: http://www.freebyte.com/hjsplit/
