  • Question

  • Hi,

I've been looking into the "Microsoft Certified Business Management Solutions Professional - Microsoft Dynamics AX Developer" certification.

And I've got a question regarding the two core exams; Development Introduction (MB6-819) and MorphX Solution Development (MB6-821).

I've been looking at the material regarding MB6-819 and MB6-821 (http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/Exams/MB6-821.aspx and http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/Exams/MB6-819.aspx) and I'm just wondering - do you take both of these exams in the same session or are these different exams that you would take on two different occasions??
If you can do either or - would anyone recommend taking these exams together??

I've asked my local Microsoft training center about this and they don't seem to know anything more than I do.

    Thanks,

  • Hi

Usually when its a 2 part exam you can sit them at different times allowing to study and pass one and then concentrate on the other. Only when you have the two exams passed will you be awarded the certification. Also it doesnt matter what order you do them in, as long as you have the combination of both.

Just as a matter of note, you need 4 exams for the Dynamics AX Developer cert. The 2 you have listed are the core (IE must be done) and there are 2 electives where you have a choice of 2 exams you want to do.
