One Care Error

  Go to the website of the antivirus software you previously uninstalled and if there is an uninstall tool run it. Then run the One Care install cleanup tool - http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/onecareinstallandactivate/thread/399071e2-49dc-4767-932d-d261e3965943 then install One Care.   Did all that stuff and still get the same error...... I don't know what to do now, I have no anti virus protection now. Guess I can get one of those other crummy anti virus programs that offer next to nothing.

  If you continue to get the 0044 error when trying to install, review the following:
