BSOD Win XP The Windows Logon Process system process terminated

  when I start my computer.. The Windows logo appears & then i get BSOD  & the following message
  
   STOP: c000021a{Fatal System Error}
  The Windows Logon Process system process terminated unexpectedly with a status of
  0x0000354(0x00000000 0x00000000)
  The system has been shut down.
  
  any suggestions?
  
  I run a system with pentium 4 & 256 MB RAM with windows xp home
