I have mesh installed on Vista Business PC. It asked to do a software updated for some new MESH releases. After trying to complete the update it prvides the cryptic message ..."Some updates were not configured"....and nothing more....how can I troubleshoot what is going on here ??
When you first installed Mesh, did you have UAC on? Then turn it off? If so, then you will need to do the following:
1. Turn UAC back on [reboot] 2. Uninstall Live Mesh completely 3. Turn UAC back off [reboot] 4. Remove that device from your Mesh 5. Add the device back to your Mesh and you will get the updated version
Once you have done this, you won't need to do it again.SL - Windows Live Platform MVP

I found (although this was an XP machine) that my company's firewall blocked this type of operation and it would always fail in this way. When I connected the machine to the Company's guest (unrestricted) network, it worked (and then I could go back behind the firewall).
