Is it possible to buy just the server software and then build you own hardware? If so can you point me to the URL about this?

Anybody know where we poor souls in the UK can get this software for a decent price?
Newegg are great but won't ship to the UK.
Best price I have found is at our old friends at Ebuyer.com where it was around £85.
Can't find it cheaper and it never seems to go on promotion.
Anybody found a better price?
