In my case I had a legit Office 2007 insalled..then my hard drive crashed, and because I stuipidly did not back up frequently, I lost all my e-mail folders. When the repair center installed a new HD I told them I had Office 2007 Home and Student, but they installed without using our key...thus the message about invalid copy. I know I have to uninstall and reinstall the valid copy, but, How do I save and reinstall my OE e-mail folders so they show up in the new installation? Please keep it simple as after 10 years I am still a newbie
If the shop installed Office H&S 2007, you may be able to change the nongenuine Product Key to your genuine Product Key by following the instructions in this MS KB: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/895456For great advice on all topics XP, visit http://www.annoyances.org/exec/forum/winxp
