Dual boot OS issue: Windows7-Windows 8 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi Team,

My system configuration is as below,

Intel DH67BL system board, Intel I5 CPU, 8 GB RAM,

Hard Drive 1: 500 GB SATA  Windows 8 boot OS( Installed stand alone mode-Installed stand alone mode_During installation OS only one Hard drive connected to system)

Hard Drive 2: 500GB SATA Windows 7 Boot OS(Installed stand alone mode_During installation OS only one Hard drive connected to system)

Connected the Both the HDD to system(Setting HDD 1 as 1st booting device from BIOS) and boot the system with Windows 8 OS and working fine.

Changed the boot sequence from BIOS  to Windows 7 not  problem occurred and OS load properly and shutdown properly

Now real question is that when booting with Windows 8 at the start up it do disc scan for the partition which has Windows 7 installed.

Can any one have the answer to this as I have to switch often to different OS for testing  of application.

How to stop auto disc scanning during Windows 8 booting.

When working with Windows 8 continuously no  issues detected.
