Plugin Registration Tool throwing error while creating new connection RRS feed

  • Hi All,

    I am trying to connect to CRM Online in the Plugin Registration Tool but getting below error. Kindly help if any one aware of this issue.

    You don't have permission to access any of the organizations in the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online region that you specified. If you're not sure which region your organization resides in, choose "Don't know" for the CRM region and try again. Otherwise check with your CRM administrator.

    Yes, I am able to login through web. I am also able to connect to Plugin Registration tool from my personal pc. It is throwing error in office PCs. On searching I found it might be some SSL certificate or proxy issue. But am not able to diagnose the exact cause.

    Please let me know if you have any idea.

    Can you just a write C# code and check whether you are able to connect to CRM or not from your office machine.

    There's something wrong with the latest plugin registration tool, find and older one and it should work. (even a 2011 one IIRC)

  • Thank you all for your responses.

    I downloaded WIF ( Windows Identity Foundation ) and it worked. It seems, Microsoft.Identity.dll was missing because of which Organisation details were not retrieved.
