Constantly Activating Windows XP RRS feed

  • Question

  • Ok here's my situation.

I have a valid copy of Windows XP I purchased several years ago.  I am constantly formatting my computer because I'm a computer geek.  Instead of using "cleaning/fixing software" I'd rather just do a fresh install because that's the best way to start clean.  Now here's my problem I guess I've done this too many times that I have to call Microsoft to activate XP.  There have been times that I've done this 2/3 times in one night because I was trying different things while installing XP.  Now is there a way I can contact Microsoft to see if they could make it so I don't have to call every time I do a fresh install?

    Thanks,

    Will

    Loboverde,

No there isn't a way. Since you are a power user and like to install and try different scenerios you will have to validate via telephone. There are other options which you may try. One would be set the machine up the way you desire and create an image. This would be an option which you would be responsible for and not MS. Hope this helps you.
