Upgrading from 32 bit to 64 bit RRS feed

  • Can i image my Hard drive on a 32-bit and put it on a 64 bit OS. i don't want to re install my programs and setting :(. all my programs can work on the 64-bit.

  • This is the wrong forum.  This is not a forum about installing Windows.  It a forum for activation problems.  The correct forum is

    Having said that, the answer is no. There is no way to avoid reinstalling Windows when you change between a 32bit architecture and a 64bit architecture. It requires a Custom Install.  If you have further questions, please use the link I posted.
