Shared SQL Server same instance as Sharepoint in Lab _ Will there be issues? RRS feed

    I know the official line is that the Back-End Database should be in its own instance with no other DBs etc.
    However for our test lab would there be any issues using the same instance shared with other DBs such as SharePoint etc.

    As this is just a lab the load is negligible.
    The SQL install is fairly basic, though it is clustered so setting up a new instance would be a "pain".

    I have it working in a lab in that fashion. just realize it is not supported an it may cause performance issues for both OCS, and for other SQL databases.
