Windows 10 SDK Install keeps failing

Question
-
I have the released version of windows 10 and downloaded visual studio 2015 community. When i try to install the WIndows 10 SDK it continues to fail.
Modified, repair, uninstall/re-install, nothing fixes it. I downloaded the standalone win 10 sdk as well, when i try to create a new project using the universal template i get a reference error.
When i try to launch a new project using the universal template i get an error that i do not have a necessary reference, which makes sense.
Is this a known issue, i have found quite a few similar issues on these forums, but most of them were with the beta versions of components. I upgraded to win 10 during the launch phase, and JUST downloaded vs2015.
Same issue on my laptop. Both my desktop and laptop failed in the same way. This must be happening to others.

Hello,
I'd ask in the Visual Studio Setup and Installation forum.
However, I updated my system to Win10 RTM and installed Visual Studio Community 2015 without issue.

Do you know how many posts are made about Win 10 issues? There seems to be a lot of them. Well at least in the software development world starting way back with Win95 and moving through each O/S new release, a person or companies would always wait a few months before they moved to a new O/S on developing solutions against the O/S, a settling period of letting O/S updates and other software updates running against the O/S to take affect and correct issues.
Sometimes the rush to glory doesn't will get you burnt.

This is not a windows 10 issue. I doubt Windows would like it if all developers waited months to develop for the newly RELEASED to the public platforms.

Well experience over the years in addressing new O/S releases starting with Win95 and up prove otherwise as each new release of the O/S(s) presented issues. But you are for sure seeing it now, and it's dead in your face.Friday, August 7, 2015 5:27 PM -

What is the common factor with your post and many other posts I see concerning the common issue?
