for attaching a file in ms crm the size is limited to 8 Mb by default, if i edit the webconfig file and increase the size, how much size will be better option not affecting the performance of the application or vulnerables for the application
It's not as much a question of overall performance or vulnerability - but every attachment becomes a part of the overall CRM database and could increase the size of the DB much faster than you expect. - this will result in longer databas backup times and the time to retrieve that specific attachment will be slower than if it was stored in a file system.
One large file will not hurt, but turning CRM into a document library is not it's best use, - For that type of need, consider incorporating a sharepoint document library and linking it to CRM. (This is a common practice and there are many discussions about how to do this online - and there is now a new class from Microsoft on Sharepoint-CRM integration.)
