OneCare Subscription Renewal

Question
-
My OneCare subscription expires next month(July) and I have gotten the pop-up window saying that it will be automatically renewed. I switched internet providers in March and went with Qwest, who provides Live OneCare for free. If it is free with Qwest, then I shouldn't have to pay to renew it in July, right? And, how do I stop it from automatically renewing?

You will need to contact OneCare customer service to cancel the account -
How to reach support (FAQ) - http://forums.microsoft.com/WindowsOneCare/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=2421771&SiteID=2
However, once you do this, your current copy of OneCare will become unsubscribed, probably before the actual renewal date, depending on what support does.
Once it becomes unsubscribed, uninstall OneCare - How to Uninstall Windows Live OneCare
Then, visit the Qwest download page and follow their instructions for installation and activation using your Qwest LiveID:

The Qwest LiveID is the important part in activation - you can actually install OneCare via download from http://onecare.live.com, too, but the activation for your Qwest provided account must be done with the ID that they provide. Contact Qwest for help with activation, if needed
