Blocking messages with a blank sender and subject RRS feed

  • Question

  • Having finally discovered how to create message rules in Windows Live Mail 2011, I was disappointed to find that the rules setup is a lot less sophisticated than what I used to use in Outlook.  In particular, the rule option "Where the From line contains people" can't be set to block a blank sender; nor can the "When the subject line contains specific words" rule be set to block a blank subject.

I get far too much spam these days, and although I'm diligently using the Blocked Sender list to block each blank / blank email that comes in, I still get several a day.  Twould be much better to simply block them at the gate, but I don't know how.  Any ideas?  Thanks in advance.
