CRM 2011 freeze the drop down lists in Internet Explorer 9 RRS feed

  • CRM 2011 freezes the drop down lists while using Internet Explorer 9. I often see CRM 2011 freezes the drop down lists in IE 9. Does anyone know how to address, or solve this issue on the Client side? Microsoft states that this issue should be fixed applying the UR 6 for Microsoft Dynamics. Has someone applied the UR 6, and checked if the issue was fixed?

    My setup is on Rollup 15 and I think drop down lists open fine here in my case.

    Also, Rollup 6 offers a big improvement for CRM 2011 and schema as well as design changes.

    I dont know how easy it is for you to move to rollup 6, but I will recommend to setup roll up 6.

    Also, All rollups are a cumulative packages including previous rollups.

    So I will say, before you update rollup, have a look at changes implemented by various rollups.

    You can do a search online to get that information, that too in a very easy way.


    Its been a long time that Rollup 6 was released for CRM 2011. So, my guess is, majority of CRM 2011 applications on this planet already have rollup 6 on their system.
