  • If you cannot successfully activate via the internet, then choose the alternative option to "activate by phone".

The Activation Wizard displays the toll free number that you can dial.

You can open the Windows Product Activation wizard by clicking Start, then Run, and type in "oobe/msoobe /a", then press the Enter key located on your keyboard.

  • hi,

Yeah it displays a free number a number i can call and i already tryed it but the automated system always tells me my installation id could not be verified does that mean i made a typo ? 9 groups of 6 numbers pretty much if you ask me ...

The system always tells me my installation could not be verified ..... is this meant to be automated ? i mean when it is successfull i must get something back to fill in at the activation wizard

Anyway the limit on internet activation is pretty stupid ... sometimes people need to format there harddrive ....
