Accidental lockout? RRS feed

  • Question

  •

I was assisting a family member (not very computer literate) with installing a virus scanner and running it. This was going fine, and I preferred using SharedView for its ease in use.

However, as I habitually press the Windows+L key combination to lock my local desktop, I was dismayed to find it merely seemed to lock me out of a long-running SharedView session I was controlling.

I can get the family member to unlock the desktop (tomorrow, when it's a decent hour), but shouldn't the Windows+L combo stayed just on my computer? I'm pretty sure that it does with Remote Desktop...
