Would you recommend SyncToy in Echo mode as a mirroring tool for mirrored backup?
Basically I want my audio folders mirrored to a network share, both systems running vista.
I have used robocopy for years but the ONLY thing letting me down is Filename Case Preservation. i.e. if you change only the case of the characters in a filename or folder then no change is detected.
I did prefer robocopy due to command line interface and no requirement for 'pairing' data. After I hit the button I knew my share would be identical. Or so I thought, but I'm a stickler for having my files and folders named correctly.
Certainly a lot of people use SyncToy for just that purpose (as you will see on this forum). Perhaps the SyncToyCMD.exe command line tool might be of interest to you as well.
