Register plugin on disk on an IFD deployment RRS feed

  • Question

  • I'm having a bit of a problem registering a plugin for an IFD deployment. I can register an assembly to the database but not on the disk. The DLLs are in the bin/assembly and the CRMWeb/bin folders so they should be available.

I'm getting the following error from the plugin registration tool:

    Unhandled Exception: System.ServiceModel.FaultException`1[[Microsoft.Xrm.Sdk.OrganizationServiceFault, Microsoft.Xrm.Sdk, Version=5.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35]]: Unable to load plug-in assembly.
