Onecare, need admin rights to get firewall working but can't??

Question
-
Hey,
I have Onecare on my laptop and cannot get the firewall to turn on. I also cannot change any of the settings such as “tune-up”, “Backup” etc. I have updated, restarted and tried all possible "fix it" buttons, and am still no further in figuring out how to fix this. I believe the problem is that it is saying I do not have the administrated rights to change any of the above; however, I am the only user on the computer. I have checked the administrative settings(which is saying that I do have admin rights), reset the password, all of the above but still not successful in finding a solution to this problem . Any help would be much appreciated.
As well, I have tried some of the links provided as an aid to help this problem, but it still say's I need admin rights.

I suggest uninstalling One Care, run the install cleanup tool - http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/onecareinstallandactivate/thread/399071e2-49dc-4767-932d-d261e3965943 then reinstall One Care. I still would recommend going the uninstall-reinstall route. It may save time over troubleshooting the remaining issues.
