Question - Upgrading my certification & skills to Server 2012. RRS feed

  • Question

  • I've completed 70-640 & 70-680 exams about 2 years back.

Would now aiming to upgrade the skills to Server2012 based on the above exams.

Understand that I have not obtained a qualifying set of examsMCSA/MCSE, Is there anyway I can go with the upgrade path of certification rather than starting all through scratch with Server2012?

    Thanks

  • Hi,

You can go for MCSE: Server 2008 first, this requires exam 70-640, 70-642 and 70-646 so you can skip exam 70-640 that you already passed.

From there you can upgrade to MCSA: Server 2012 by passing exam 70-417.

Starting with MCSA: Server 2012 from scratch also require 3 exams  so unfortunately there is no real upgrade path as both scenario's require passing 3 exams.

  • If you have already passed the exam once for previous versions, then you can easily crack the new certification too with just small amount of right guidance. We would be really happy to help you out in the same. Do check out our program on our official site: http://www.bookmybootcamp.com/
