Fatal Error Trying To SysPrep

Question
-
I have 6 machines, all bought at the same time with the same hardware, all HP. They run Windows 7 professional. I loaded all necessary software on one, created an image using the built in Windows tools and applied that image to these machines. Then I needed to Sysprep them to change their System IDs because this will be on a corporate network.
The first 2 machines were fine, but the 3rd one got the issue "Fatal Error occurred while trying to sysprep the machine", the same goes for all machines after that.
I've read that this is possibly when the Windows Media Player process is running but in this case the process is not running on any of the machines.
Any ideas on where to post this?

Hello ,
Thank you for your post! I would suggest creating a new thread for your question in the (Windows Client TechCenter > Windows 7 IT Pro Forums > Windows 7 Networking ) forum located here: (http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w7itpronetworking/threads).
Hope that would be helpful.
Have a great day!

Hello MattBlanchette89,
I would suggest posting to the Setup and Installation forum rather than the networking forum
http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w7itproinstall/threads
Post the complete text of the error message, usually there is more to the error message with the Fatal Error messages.
You may also want to post unattended file that was used, if not the portions at teh end of the log file with the error in it will be useful
Log file at windows\panther\unattendgc\setupact.log.
