    Dear All

    Hope you all are doing well.  My name Is Salman Shahzad I am working with a medium size company currently we are running windows 2003 server but planning to upgrade to 2008. I have computer knowledge and practical experience so I know how to install and configure the server, active directory but I want to get a professional certification and knowledge of Windows 2008 Server, please advise me which course I should go to get windows 2008 server certification.

    I think you should start from Windows Server either it could be 2003 or 2008. And if you have some knowledge about Server 2008 than start with Server 2008 and get Papers as mentioned below.

    01. 70-640

    02. 70-642

    03. 70-646

    With completion of these three certifications you will get MCITP Server Administrator 2008.

     

    After that you can make other plan but I suggest you that start with this because you will gain alot of knowledge about Networks and windows environment which will help you on every step of your career.

    Hi Salman, i'll recommend the course MOC (microsoft official curriculum) 6419, 6421 and 6425.MOC courses is offered by Microsoft CPLS This 3 courses will prepare you for two MCTS exam , 70-640 (AD) and 70-642 (network Infrastructure) regards,
