Complete caos since last large / multi Microsoft update... including "not genuine" error... RRS feed

  • Question

  • Since the last major, multi item update in the Microsoft Updates, I have had a multitude of problems on my computer, extreme slowness, programs not loading, not responding..    and this..   one of those Windows 7 not genuine errors..    in the lower right hand corner of the screen..   I have searched and found instructions to post the analysis here..     so here it is..    (BUT..   THERE IS clearly a problem in the last major - there have been a couple of defender ones since -  major problem in the last major update from Microsoft automatic updates...   something has corrupted files and I am looking at having to reformat and reinstall on a computer only a couple of years old...  and, so is my mother, same issues, same update, same Windows 7...  Microsoft needs to correct the problem they created with their update, they should be able to identify it and correct it... please...   )  So..  here is the analysis..    for this problem.  Any "how to fix" would be appreciated.

  • I see nothing wrong with this report.  Was it displaying the "Not Genuine" message when you ran the diagnostic?
