Need your help in providing Bulk Edit capability on Tasks for Case in MS Dynamics CRM 2013 On-Premise RRS feed

  • Hi all,

    We have customized the out-of-box Task activity type to add few custom fields. Users would navigate in CRM to a specific Case, after which users should be able to view the Related Tasks (including custom fields visible in that Task Sub Grid), then have the ability to select multiple Tasks from that Sub Grid and initiate the Bulk Edit. Any suggestions on how can this be achieved?

    Major problem we have is that the Bulk Edit capability is enabled only for the Base Activity Associated View but not the Tasks Associated View. We cannot use the Activity Associated View in Sub Grid because we need to show additional few custom fields for the user to decide the selection of Tasks for Bulk Edit.
