emails stuck in Sending state RRS feed

  • most of the emails are stuck in "Sending " state with below exception on on the email router. I would like to know which account will change the status of the email from "Pending send" to "Sending" to "Sent" in CRM.

    #26234 - The Email Router service could not process a provider work item using assembly: Microsoft.Crm.Tools.EmailProviders.dll and class: Microsoft.Crm.Tools.Email.Providers.ExchangeOnlinePollingSendEmailProvider. System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

  • Check the email router is configured correctly, make sure you can successfully "test connection", and make sure the exchange account you have configured the router with has delegate authority on all of your organisations email accounts.
