Waiting for 2.0 update

Question
-
I know there are some who have had problems with the new 2.0 update. A friend was just updated last week without problem. I signed upped my three computers for WLOC long before she did and am still waiting. Have they stopped the auto update until some of the problems have been resolved?
Thank you

Thanks for your speedy reply. Most support staff take hours if not days to answer a question, but WLOC is right on the mark.

Speedy reply indeed, but no real answer. Many of us would still like to know why the original 2.0 update was recalled. What was the extent of the failure?
Why has information about this update failure been so difficult to obtain?

Have you scanned this forum? There are loads of threads from people who had a variety of problems after updating to v2. None of these problems appeared during beta testing, hence the need for some fixes and a regrouping.
-OneCare fails to start
-Firewall fails to start
-Antivirus fails to start
-Winss crashes
-winss and svchost consume 100% CPU
-Virus scan takes days instead of hours
-Back Plan cannot be saved
-Subscription expired, when not really expired, requires a reinstall
I'm sure I've missed some of the top issues, but these are big enough to warrant slowing down the deployment until they are reasonably certain that the major problems encountered with the upgrade can be prevented. There are quite a few open threads here on the forum from some people who are being unbelievably patient while the problems are investigated.
If you absolutely *must* have v2 of OneCare, you can uninstall your current version after confirming the subscription LiveID so that you can activate after installing v2 from http://onecare.live.com

I am indeed running for months a version 2.0 on vista 64 without any noticeable issue... and I was wondering why I did not have any message to upgrade to 2 for my other machines... but I am indeed very happy that this did not occur I would really not have enjoy the rocky path.
